Declines when testing PinPad - Retail / Restaurant

  • Obtain a New VAR Sheet

    • Make sure you have the most recent and accurate VAR sheet from the processor.

    • Outdated or incorrect VAR details can cause authorization failures.

  • Re-Build the PinPad Configuration

    • Open BroadPOS or the applicable terminal management software.

    • Rebuild the PinPad configuration using the new VAR sheet information.

    • Save and push the updated file to the device.

  • Test Again

    • After the rebuild, run a test transaction to verify the issue is resolved.
