Cash Drawer not opening when doing transaction - Retail / Restaurant

  1. Navigate to from Main Menu to Setup(Restaurant) or  Management(Retail)
    From the main screen, access the Main Menu.

  2. Go to Setup -> Advanced(Retail) 


    Go to Management -> Advanced under Setup(Restaurant) 

  3. Enable Cash Drawer Pop for Cash Only

    • Locate the option related to Cash Drawer Open.

    • Ensure the setting is configured to pop the drawer for cash transactions only, and not for credit card payments.


  4. Check Cable Orientation

    1. Physically inspect the connection to the cash drawer and terminal.

Confirm that all cables are firmly inserted and oriented correctly according to hardware specifications.


In main menu > settings > advanced, ensure the option to pop when it does cash and NOT credit card. Also, ensure the cables are inserted in the correct oritentation.
