How to Set Up Percentage-Based Tip Suggestions on the PinPad

1. Open BroadPOS.

2. Locate and edit the PinPad configuration file.

3. Go to the Tip section within the file.
   

4. Set the Tip Section Limit to 0.01.

5. Under Dollar Amounts, enter 3, 5, and 7.

   • This will convert the tip options to percentage-based suggestions (e.g., 3%, 5%, 7%).

6. In JK Software, enable the tip prompt:

   • Go to Setup
     

   • Select Hardware
     

   • Choose Payment
     

   • Enable Prompt for Pin Pad Tip Entry

7. Save all changes and restart the device or software if necessary.
