How to clear a database on TSYS on PAX

Please follow the steps below to locate the “Clear by Trans” option on the Pax A35 terminal running TSYS Sierra:

1. Access the password prompt:
   Tap the four corners of the TSYS Sierra screen until the terminal asks for a password.

2. Enter today’s date as the password (MMDDYYYY):

   • For example, if it’s August 21, 2025, enter 08212025.

3. Navigate to Other Settings:
   From the menu, select Other Settings.

4. Locate and select “Clear by Trans”:
   Scroll to find “Clear by Trans,” then select it and follow the on-screen prompts as needed.

• Use a new batch number, and try to batch out again.
